- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar, mixing until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract until everything is fully incorporated.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually fold this dry mixture into the wet mixture until just blended.
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
- In a small bowl, mix together the remaining sugar and ground cinnamon. Sprinkle this topping over the batter.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the blondies to cool before cutting them into squares.
