Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan generously.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, mix the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, and gently stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix!
  5. Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  6. In a separate small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon for the topping, then evenly sprinkle over the batter.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
