- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sugar

- 1/4 cup melted butter

- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon (for coating)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin tin.
- Cut the French bread into 1-inch cubes.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well combined.
- Add the bread cubes to the egg mixture and soak for about 10 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon for the topping.
- Scoop the soaked bread mixture into the greased muffin tins, filling each one about 3/4 full.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the tops of each muffin.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture generously on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
- Let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For best results, use day-old French bread to enhance absorption. Consider adding chocolate chips or experimenting with spices for creative twists.
