Description

Indulge in a classic comfort food with this juicy bacon cheeseburger featuring crispy bacon, melted cheddar, and perfectly seasoned beef patties.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 for juicy patties)
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 4 burger buns
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and let drain on paper towels.
  2. Form the ground beef into four equal-sized patties, making a small indentation in each. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium doneness. Add cheddar cheese on top during the last minute of cooking and cover to melt.
  4. Lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or skillet until golden brown.
  5. Spread mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard on the bottom buns. Layer cooked patties with cheese, bacon, tomato, onion, and shredded lettuce. Top with the bun.
  6. Serve alongside fries or a fresh side salad and enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to substitute turkey bacon for a lighter option or use cheese of your choice.
