- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 for juicy patties)
- 8 slices of bacon
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 4 burger buns
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- 1 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp mustard
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and let drain on paper towels.
- Form the ground beef into four equal-sized patties, making a small indentation in each. Season with salt and pepper.
- Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium doneness. Add cheddar cheese on top during the last minute of cooking and cover to melt.
- Lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or skillet until golden brown.
- Spread mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard on the bottom buns. Layer cooked patties with cheese, bacon, tomato, onion, and shredded lettuce. Top with the bun.
- Serve alongside fries or a fresh side salad and enjoy!

Feel free to substitute turkey bacon for a lighter option or use cheese of your choice.
