A cherished comfort food featuring tender beef, root vegetables, and hearty gravy enveloped in a flaky puff pastry crust.

Ingredients

Scale

  • 30 oz of Irish stew (drained)
  • Canola oil spray
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 large egg (beaten with 2 tsp water)

  • 3 tbsp black sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  4. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
  5. Place the cooled stew into the pie dish evenly.
  6. Carefully place the puff pastry over the stew and seal the edges.

  10. Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
