- 3 tbsp black sesame seeds
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare the Irish stew according to your favorite recipe, ensuring to drain any excess liquid.
- Let the stew cool for a few minutes.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
- Place the cooled stew into the pie dish evenly.
- Carefully place the puff pastry over the stew and seal the edges.
- Use a sharp knife to cut slits in the pastry for steam to escape.
- Brush the top with egg wash and sprinkle with pepper, salt, and black sesame seeds.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
