Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Soak the breadcrumbs in milk for about 5 minutes until softened.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, soaked breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into meatballs.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through, about 10-15 minutes.

Notes

For a healthier option, bake meatballs in the oven at 400°F (204°C) for about 20 minutes instead of frying.
