- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Olive oil for frying
Instructions
- Soak the breadcrumbs in milk for about 5 minutes until softened.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, soaked breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into meatballs.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through, about 10-15 minutes.
Notes
For a healthier option, bake meatballs in the oven at 400°F (204°C) for about 20 minutes instead of frying.
