Description

Delicious and tender meatballs made with ground beef, garlic, and fresh herbs, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk (for soaking the breadcrumbs)
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Soak the breadcrumbs in milk for about 5 minutes.
  3. Combine the ground beef, soaked breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, parsley, basil, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Mix everything together gently until just combined.
  5. Form the mixture into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through and browned.
  7. Serve with pasta, in a sub, or with marinara sauce.

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute ground turkey or chicken. These meatballs can also be made gluten-free with gluten-free breadcrumbs.
