Recreate the cozy café experience at home with this creamy and spiced chai tea latte.
Ingredients

- 2 cups water
- 2 black tea bags (preferably chai)
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1–2 tsp sweetener (like honey or sugar)
- 1 cup milk (or dairy-free alternative)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger (optional)
- 1/4 tsp ground cardamom (optional)
Instructions
- Bring the water to a boil in a medium saucepan.
- Add the black tea bags, cinnamon stick, and optional spices to the boiling water. Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 5-10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in your sweetener and vanilla extract.
- Heat the milk in the microwave or stovetop until hot but not boiling.
- Froth the milk using a frother or whisk until creamy.
- Pour the brewed tea into a mug and layer the frothed milk on top.
Notes
For extra flavor, serve with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top and pair with cookies or scones.
