Description
Warm, gooey cookies filled with the crunch of Oreos and creamy white chocolate chips. Perfect for any occasion!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup + 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened, at room temperature)
- 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 10 Oreo cookies (coarsely chopped)
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and granulated sugar together on medium speed until well blended.
- Add in the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until everything is smooth. Scrape the sides of the bowl with a spatula.
- Lower the mixer speed and gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Mix just until the dough comes together.
- Fold in the chopped Oreos and white chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Use a small cookie scoop to portion the dough, roll into balls, and gently flatten each cookie slightly.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, until the edges are set. Centers may look slightly underbaked.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free flour. You can also swap white chocolate for dark chocolate chips.
