- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat with a splash of olive oil. Sear the chicken until golden brown on both sides, about 4-5 minutes each.
- In a baking dish, spread a layer of marinara sauce at the bottom.
- Place the seared chicken on top and cover the chicken with cottage cheese.
- Pour the rest of the marinara sauce over the cottage cheese.
- Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Serve warm and enjoy!
