A healthy twist on pizza, this Cottage Cheese Pizza Bowl is quick, easy, and packed with flavor and nutrition, perfect for a weeknight dinner or brunch.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell peppers
  • 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup chopped spinach or kale
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Olive oil, salt, pepper (to taste)
  • Sliced olives & diced onions (as desired)
  • Fresh basil (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In an oven-safe bowl, layer the ingredients, starting with the cottage cheese at the bottom.
  3. Spread the marinara sauce generously over the cottage cheese.
  4. Add chopped bell peppers, mushrooms, and spinach (or kale) on top.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese generously on top of the veggies.
  6. Drizzle with olive oil and add salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and garnish with olives, diced onions, and fresh basil before serving.
