  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta: Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sear the chicken: In a large skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Add the cubed chicken and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add garlic: Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Mix in broccoli: Add in the broccoli florets and sauté until just tender, about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Combine pasta: Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the skillet, along with the lemon juice and zest. Toss everything together until well mixed and heated through.
  6. Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot!

To keep leftovers fresh, refrigerate in an airtight container for up to three days. Freezing the chicken and broccoli mixture (without pasta) for up to two months is safe; just cook fresh pasta when ready to serve.
