- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Start by melting the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic, cooking for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Season the chicken breasts with smoked paprika, parsley, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Carefully place the chicken in the skillet, searing for 5-7 minutes on each side until thoroughly cooked.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside on a plate.
- In the same skillet, add sliced mushrooms and sauté until golden brown.
- Pour in the heavy cream, bringing it to a simmer and allowing it to thicken slightly.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it well with the creamy mushroom sauce.

Notes
For a lighter dish, consider substituting half of the heavy cream with chicken broth. You can also use half-and-half as an alternative.
