- 8 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 pound crispy bacon, chopped
- 3 cups frozen hash browns
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
- Spread the hash browns evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle the chopped bacon and shredded cheese over the hash browns.
- Pour the egg mixture over the layers in the baking dish, allowing it to soak through.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the casserole is set and lightly golden on top.
- Once done, let it cool for a few minutes before cutting and serving. Enjoy!
Notes
For best results, use freshly grated cheese instead of pre-shredded. Prepare the casserole the night before to save time in the morning.
