Description
Juicy and flavorful burgers made with ground chuck, crumbled bacon, and cheddar cheese, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ½ lb ground chuck
- 3 Tbsp sour cream
- 2 Tbsp ranch dressing mix
- ⅓ cup cooked and crumbled bacon
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Hamburger buns
- Lettuce
- Tomato
- Mustard and mayo (for topping)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground chuck, sour cream, ranch dressing mix, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese.
- Mix gently with your hands or a sturdy spoon until just combined—avoid overmixing to keep your burgers tender.
- Form the mixture into 6 equal-sized patties.
- Make a small dimple in the center of each patty to prevent puffing.
- Heat your grill or skillet to medium and cook the patties, flipping carefully when they’re ready.
- Check for doneness with a meat thermometer: 130-135°F for medium-rare, 140-145°F for medium, and 160°F for well-done.
- Allow the burgers to rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Don’t press down on the patties while grilling to retain the juices. Allow cooked burgers to rest before serving.
