  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings 1x
  • Diet: Omnivore

Description

Indulge in these delicious Crack Burgers made with juicy ground chuck, creamy ranch dressing, crispy bacon, and melted cheddar cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ lb ground chuck
  • 3 Tbsp sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp ranch dressing mix
  • ⅓ cup cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Hamburger buns (your favorite type)
  • Lettuce, tomato, mustard, mayo (for optional toppings)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground chuck, sour cream, ranch dressing mix, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until just combined.
  2. Form the mixture into 6 equal-sized patties, about ¾-inch thick, and press a small dimple in the center of each patty.
  3. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium heat. Add the patties and cook to your desired doneness, flipping carefully with a spatula.
  4. Use a meat thermometer to check doneness: Medium-rare is 130-135°F, medium is 140-145°F, and well-done is 160°F.
  5. Allow the burgers to rest for a few minutes off the heat before serving.

Notes

You can substitute ground turkey for a leaner option. Experiment with different cheese varieties such as pepper jack or gouda.
