Description

A creamy pasta dish combining tender penne pasta with juicy chicken, crispy bacon, and a rich cheese sauce, perfect for busy weeknights or special family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 2 chicken breasts, diced
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and chop.
  3. In the same skillet, add diced chicken and cook until browned and fully cooked.
  4. Lower the heat and add cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and chicken broth. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  5. Add the cooked penne pasta to the skillet and mix well, coating the pasta with the creamy sauce.
  6. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to taste.
  7. Stir in the chopped bacon.
  8. Serve warm and garnish with chopped green onions.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding veggies like spinach or bell peppers. Leftover chicken can be used for convenience.
