Description

  • 2 cans Canned French-style green beans, drained
  • 6 slices Bacon, crispy
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup Low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, fry the bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels and crumble.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained green beans, crumbled bacon, melted butter, brown sugar, soy sauce, and garlic powder. Mix until evenly coated.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  5. Bake for about 30 minutes or until bubbly and slightly caramelized.

Notes

For a lighter version, swap in turkey bacon or plant-based butter. Best served warm.
