- 2 cans Canned French-style green beans, drained
- 6 slices Bacon, crispy
- 1/2 cup Brown sugar
- 1/4 cup Butter, melted
- 1/4 cup Low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, fry the bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels and crumble.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained green beans, crumbled bacon, melted butter, brown sugar, soy sauce, and garlic powder. Mix until evenly coated.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Bake for about 30 minutes or until bubbly and slightly caramelized.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For a lighter version, swap in turkey bacon or plant-based butter. Best served warm.
