Description

Delicious Crack Green Beans featuring crispy bacon, sweet brown sugar, and savory soy sauce — the perfect side dish for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 5 cans (14.5 oz each) cut green beans, drained
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until it’s crisp. Remove from heat, drain on paper towels, and crumble once cool.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth.
  4. Place the drained green beans in the prepared baking dish. Pour the sauce mixture evenly over the top and toss to coat.
  5. Sprinkle the crumbled bacon on top.
  6. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbly and slightly thickened.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For added texture, consider garnishing with toasted almonds. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days, or freeze for up to three months.
