- 5 cans (14.5 oz each) cut green beans, drained
- 8 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
- 2/3 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook the bacon over medium heat until it’s nice and crispy. Drain on paper towels and crumble it into bits.
- Prepare the sauce by whisking melted butter, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper in a bowl until smooth.
- Assemble the dish by placing the drained green beans in the prepared baking dish. Pour the sauce mixture evenly over the beans and toss to coat. Sprinkle the crumbled bacon on top.
- Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbly and slightly thickened.

Notes
