Ingredients

- 20 oz cheese tortellini (Fresh or refrigerated)
- 1 lb steak (Sirloin or ribeye)
- Salt and black pepper
- Garlic powder
- Smoked paprika
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 1 1/4 cups parmesan, shredded or freshly grated
- Parsley, chopped (optional)
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
- Cracked black pepper (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large pot, boil water and cook the tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Season the steak with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until cooked to your liking. Remove from the skillet and let it rest.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter and add minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Reduce heat to low and pour in the heavy cream and milk, stirring until well combined.
- Gradually mix in the parmesan until it melts into a creamy sauce.
- Slice the rested steak and add it to the sauce, followed by the drained tortellini. Toss to coat.
- Garnish with parsley, red pepper flakes, and cracked black pepper if desired.
Notes
For a stunning presentation, serve in deep bowls with garlic bread and a fresh side salad.
