Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream the softened butter with powdered sugar until it’s light and fluffy.
- Mix in the vanilla extract and fresh orange zest.
- Gradually add the flour and salt to the butter mixture, stirring until well blended.
- Fold in the chopped cranberries.
- Shape the dough into a log or flatten it into a disk, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Slice the log into rounds or cut shapes from the disk.
- Place cookies on baking sheets and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
