  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons orange zest
  • 2 cups cranberries
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 orange, zested and juiced
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon clove
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 1/2 tablespoon orange zest

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cranberry Filling: In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, combine all filling ingredients, bring to a boil, and simmer until thickened.
  2. Make the Dough: Melt butter, stir in warm milk, add yeast, and let it sit. Mix in flour and egg, then add orange zest.
  3. Knead the Dough: Gradually add remaining flour and knead with a dough hook for 5 minutes.
  4. Prepare the Orange Filling: Mix orange filling ingredients in a small bowl.
  5. Roll Out the Dough: Roll dough into a rectangle, spread orange filling, then cranberry filling.
  6. Form the Rolls: Roll tightly into a log, cut into slices, and place in a greased dish.
  7. Let Them Rise: Cover and let rise in a warm area for about 60 minutes.
  8. Bake: Preheat oven to 350°F and bake for 20-30 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Make the Glaze: Combine melted butter, milk, vanilla, and powdered sugar; add orange juice and zest until smooth.
  10. Serve: Drizzle glaze over warm rolls and enjoy!
