- 1 lb sausage (pork, turkey, or your choice)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup biscuit mix
- 1/2 cup green onions, finely chopped (optional)
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix together the sausage, softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, biscuit mix, and if you’re using them, the green onions and cayenne pepper in a large bowl.
- Form the mixture into 1-inch balls and arrange them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.

Notes
These sausage balls pair wonderfully with various dipping sauces and can be made ahead of time. For a spicier kick, adjust the amount of cayenne pepper to taste.
