A delicious and quick breakfast treat featuring crispy bacon and creamy cheddar cheese baked on bagels.

- 4 bagels (any variety)
- 4 strips of bacon
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons chives, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and let drain on paper towels.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheddar, chives, salt, and pepper, and mix well.
- Slice the bagels in half and spread the cheese mixture generously on each half.
- Crumble the cooked bacon and sprinkle over the cheese mixture on each bagel half.
- Arrange the bagel halves on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Experiment with different cheese varieties or substitute with turkey bacon for a lighter version.
