- 4 bagels (any variety you prefer)
- 1 cup cream cheese (softened)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped chives for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, blend together the cream cheese, shredded cheddar, crumbled bacon, garlic powder, and onion powder. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Slice each bagel in half and arrange them on a baking sheet.
- Generously spread the cheesy bacon mixture over each bagel half.
- Place them in the oven and bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until they’re heated through and slightly golden.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with chopped chives if you like, and serve warm.
Notes
These bagels can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Freeze leftover assembled bagels before baking for longer storage.
