Creamy Garlic Steak features tender ribeye steaks in a rich, garlicky cream sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 ribeye steaks
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Season the ribeye steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the steaks to the skillet, searing for about 4-5 minutes per side until they reach your desired doneness. Remove them and let them rest.
- In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer, ensuring to stir occasionally.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until it melts into a smooth and creamy sauce.
- Slice the steaks and drizzle with the creamy garlic sauce. Finish with a sprinkle of fresh parsley.
Notes
For an even richer flavor, let the steaks sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before cooking. Pair with roasted vegetables or a full-bodied red wine.
