Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pan over medium heat, heat olive oil and add ground beef. Cook until browned.
  3. Stir in diced tomatoes, mixing well.
  4. Reduce heat, add Greek yogurt or cottage cheese, stirring until smooth.
  5. Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce, mixing thoroughly.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, adding optional garlic and Italian seasoning as desired.
  7. If desired, sprinkle shredded cheese on top and let it melt slightly while simmering.
  8. Serve immediately.
