Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large pan over medium heat, heat olive oil and add ground beef. Cook until browned.
- Stir in diced tomatoes, mixing well.
- Reduce heat, add Greek yogurt or cottage cheese, stirring until smooth.
- Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce, mixing thoroughly.
- Season with salt and pepper, adding optional garlic and Italian seasoning as desired.
- If desired, sprinkle shredded cheese on top and let it melt slightly while simmering.
- Serve immediately.
