  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sear the Steak: In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the steak with salt and pepper. Sear the steak for 3-4 minutes on each side or until desired doneness. Remove from skillet and let rest before slicing.
  3. Sauté the Garlic: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Make the Sauce: Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
  5. Combine: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing it in the creamy sauce to coat.
  6. Serve: Slice the steak and lay it over the pasta. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half and half. Consider adding sautéed vegetables like mushrooms or spinach for a twist.
