Instructions

  1. Prepare the Apples: Peel the apples if desired, slice them into wedges about 1/2 inch thick, and core them to remove the seeds.
  2. Mix the Cinnamon-Sugar: In a small bowl, combine cinnamon and sugar. Set it aside.
  3. Set Up the Breading Station: Arrange three bowls — one with flour, another with beaten eggs, and a third with panko breadcrumbs. Mix half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture into the breadcrumbs.
  4. Coat the Apple Slices: Dredge each apple slice in flour, dip it in the egg, and then coat it with the breadcrumb mixture. Ensure each slice is evenly coated.
  5. Air Fry: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for approximately 3 minutes. Place the breaded apple slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket and lightly spray them with cooking spray. Air fry for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
