Delicious and easy-to-make churro bites with a modern twist, made in an air fryer for a crispy, fluffy treat.
Ingredients

- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- In a saucepan, bring the water, butter, and salt to a boil.
- Stir in the flour continuously until the dough forms a ball.
- Remove from heat and let it cool for 5 minutes.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time until the mixture is smooth.
- Add in the vanilla extract and combine well.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Using a piping bag, squeeze small bites of the dough onto a piece of parchment paper.
- Lightly spray the churro bites with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes, or until they turn golden brown.
- In a bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll the warm churro bites in the cinnamon-sugar mixture before serving.
Notes
Best served warm, fresh out of the air fryer. Pair with chocolate sauce or caramel for dipping.
