Ingredients

- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon (for coating)
- Oil spray (for air frying)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the water, 2 tablespoons of sugar, salt, and butter. Bring to a boil.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the flour until the mixture forms a ball.
- Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then beat in the eggs one at a time until smooth. Stir in the vanilla.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Use a piping bag to pipe small bites onto parchment paper or directly into the air fryer basket.
- Lightly spray the churro bites with oil.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- In a separate bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon.
- Toss the warm churro bites in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for best freshness. Reheat in the air fryer for a few minutes to regain their crispiness.
