Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon (for coating)
  • Oil spray (for air frying)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine the water, 2 tablespoons of sugar, salt, and butter. Bring to a boil.
  2. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the flour until the mixture forms a ball.
  3. Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then beat in the eggs one at a time until smooth. Stir in the vanilla.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Use a piping bag to pipe small bites onto parchment paper or directly into the air fryer basket.
  6. Lightly spray the churro bites with oil.
  7. Air fry for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  8. In a separate bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon.
  9. Toss the warm churro bites in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  10. Serve and enjoy!
