Description
Delightful crispy churro bites, made healthier in an air fryer, coated in cinnamon sugar for a perfect sweet snack.
Ingredients

- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Combine the water, unsalted butter, 1/4 cup of sugar, and salt in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Stir in the flour until the mixture forms a ball and pulls away from the sides of the pan. Remove from heat.
- Allow the mixture to cool for a few minutes, then beat in the eggs one at a time until the dough is smooth and well-combined. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Using a piping bag, pipe small circles or bite-sized shapes onto parchment paper.
- Lightly spray your churro bites with cooking spray.
- Place them in the air fryer and cook until golden and crispy, about 8-10 minutes.
- Mix the remaining 1/2 cup of sugar with the ground cinnamon in a separate bowl.
- Roll the warm churro bites in the cinnamon sugar mixture before serving and enjoy!
Notes
Serve with warm chocolate sauce, caramel, or ice cream for added indulgence. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days.
