Delightful crispy bacon-wrapped mozzarella poppers drizzled with a sweet maple glaze, perfect for any gathering.

- 8 oz thick-cut bacon
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella balls
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Take each mozzarella ball and wrap it tightly with a slice of bacon. Use a toothpick if needed to secure it.
- Roll the bacon-wrapped mozzarella in panko breadcrumbs until fully coated on all sides.
- Place the coated poppers on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the bacon appears crispy and golden brown.
- While baking, prepare the sweet maple glaze. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Mix in the maple syrup and garlic powder, allowing it to simmer for about two minutes.
- Drizzle the glaze over the baked poppers just before serving.
Notes
Serve fresh with marinara sauce for dipping. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
