Description
Delightful bite-sized crispy salmon morsels served with a zesty Bang Bang sauce, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb fresh, skinless salmon fillets, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Vegetable oil (for frying)
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise (for sauce)
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce (for sauce)
- 1 tbsp sriracha (adjust to taste, for sauce)
- 1 tbsp honey (for sauce)
- 1 tbsp lime juice (for sauce)
Instructions
- Prepare the Salmon: Cut the salmon into 1-inch cubes and pat them dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- Set Up Breading Station: Create three separate bowls—one with flour, another with beaten eggs, and the last with panko breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Bread the Salmon: Dredge each salmon piece in flour, dip it in the egg, and finally roll it in the panko mixture, ensuring they are well coated.
- Fry the Bites: Heat about an inch of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat until hot. Fry the salmon bites in batches, about 2-3 minutes per side, until they are golden and crispy.
- Make the Bang Bang Sauce: In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice until smooth.
- Serve: Drizzle the Bang Bang sauce over the crispy salmon bites and serve them immediately.
Notes
Best enjoyed fresh and hot. Pair with crisp fries or a light salad for a complete meal.
