Description

Transform a humble head of cauliflower into a golden, flavorful dish that’s perfect as a side, a snack, or even a salad topper.


Ingredients

  • 1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  2. Wash the cauliflower thoroughly and pat it dry. Cut it into bite-sized florets.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the florets with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes. If using, add the parmesan now.
  4. Spread the seasoned cauliflower in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Roast for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
  6. Serve immediately as a side or snack.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the oven for best results.
