Description

A quick and flavorful dish featuring tender chicken breasts coated in crispy Parmesan and served with a rich garlic cream sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 4 small to medium chicken breasts (or 2 large, halved)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 34 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup light cream or heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning or oregano
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup spinach, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken with salt and pepper generously on both sides.
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  3. Lower the heat and add the minced garlic to the same skillet. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the cream, stirring continuously, then add the Italian seasoning and grated Parmesan cheese. Mix until smooth. If using spinach, stir it in now and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Return the chicken to the pan, spooning the sauce over the top. Simmer for 1 minute to combine flavors, then remove from heat.

Notes

Consider pairing with pasta, roasted vegetables, or mashed potatoes. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
