Description

A simple and delicious recipe featuring perfectly cooked chicken breasts, crispy and golden brown, topped with a luxurious garlic cream sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 small to medium chicken breasts (or 2 large, halved)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 34 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup light cream or heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning or oregano
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup spinach, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken on both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add chicken to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes per side until crispy and golden brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Lower the heat and add the minced garlic to the pan. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour the cream into the skillet, stirring continuously.
  6. Add the Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese, mixing until the sauce is smooth.
  7. If using spinach, stir it in now and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until wilted.
  8. Return the cooked chicken to the pan, spooning the sauce over the top. Allow to simmer for an additional minute before removing from heat.

Notes

For a lighter version, you can substitute half the cream with chicken broth, or swap the Parmesan for a dairy-free alternative. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
