- 1 cup of shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 4 oz. of softened cream cheese
- 1 cup of bread crumbs (seasoned preferred)
- Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)
Instructions
- Drain the pickles and pat them dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- Combine shredded cheddar cheese and softened cream cheese in a bowl until well mixed.
- Take a pickle slice, spoon some of the cheese mixture onto it, and top it with another pickle slice.
- Dip each pickle sandwich into the bread crumbs, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Carefully place the coated pickle bites in the pan and fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from oil and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
