Ingredients

  • 1 jar of dill pickles
  • 1 cup of shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 oz. of softened cream cheese
  • 1 cup of bread crumbs (seasoned preferred)
  • Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)

Instructions

  1. Drain the pickles and pat them dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  2. Combine shredded cheddar cheese and softened cream cheese in a bowl until well mixed.
  3. Take a pickle slice, spoon some of the cheese mixture onto it, and top it with another pickle slice.
  4. Dip each pickle sandwich into the bread crumbs, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
  5. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  6. Carefully place the coated pickle bites in the pan and fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove from oil and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
