- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet of Italian dressing mix
- 1 can of cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup of sour cream
- 8 oz of angel hair pasta
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of your crock pot.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the Italian dressing mix, cream of chicken soup, and sour cream. Stir until well-blended and pour it over the chicken.
- Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
- About 30 minutes before you’re ready to eat, prepare the angel hair pasta according to the package instructions.
- Once the chicken is fully cooked, use two forks to shred it within the creamy sauce. Stir everything together to combine.
- Serve the creamy chicken sauce generously over the cooked angel hair pasta. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
For an even richer flavor, consider adding a splash of white wine to the sauce mixture. If you want a bit of heat, incorporate crushed red pepper flakes or hot sauce.
