- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 cup carrots, sliced
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain the excess fat.
- Transfer the browned beef to your crockpot.
- Add the diced potatoes, sliced carrots, chopped celery, chopped onion, and pour in the beef broth.
- Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the vegetables are tender.
- Just before serving, stir in the heavy cream and shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
- Serve hot, and enjoy the comforting flavors!
