Description

Ingredients

  • 45 medium potatoes, sliced thin
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or a mix)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Spread half of the chopped onion and minced garlic over the potatoes.
  3. Season with salt, pepper, and sprinkle half of the shredded cheese on top.
  4. Repeat the process with the remaining ingredients, creating another layer.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine the heavy cream and milk, then pour the mixture over all the potato layers.
  6. Dot the top with butter for added richness.
  7. Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours, until the potatoes are tender and cooked through.

Notes
