Description

Tender, juicy steak bites slow-cooked in a flavorful marinade of soy sauce, garlic, and beef broth, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs (900g) sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • ¼ cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter, cut into small pieces
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat the sirloin cubes with paper towels to eliminate excess moisture.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, onion powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper until smooth.
  3. Place steak cubes in the crockpot and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well-coated.
  4. Dot the steak with small pieces of butter.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours until the steak is tender.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider searing the steak cubes before adding them to the crockpot. You can also customize the marinade or add vegetables for a nutritious boost.
