- 2 cups almond flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup maple syrup or honey
- 1/2 cup coconut oil or unsalted butter, melted
- 4 large eggs or flax eggs
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix the melted coconut oil with the maple syrup and eggs. Add in the vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until completely combined.
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.
- Let the brownies cool in the dish for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For a vegan option, use flax eggs and maple syrup. Experiment with chocolate chips or different nut butters for variations.
