Description

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet Puff Pastry (thawed)
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese (or Monterey Jack)
  • 1/2 cup Sliced Jalapenos (fresh or pickled)
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 large Egg (for egg wash)
  • Dipping Sauces (ranch, sriracha mayo, or honey mustard)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, sliced jalapenos, and garlic powder.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a floured surface and cut into strips (about 2 inches wide).
  4. Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture at one end of each strip, twist the pastry around the filling, and place it on the baking sheet.
  5. Brush the twists with beaten egg.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving with dipping sauces.

Notes

For a different flavor, consider brushing with olive oil or melted butter instead of egg wash. Adjust jalapeno amounts to control spice level.
