- 1 sheet Puff Pastry (thawed)
- 8 oz Cream Cheese (softened)
- 1 cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese (or Monterey Jack)
- 1/2 cup Sliced Jalapenos (fresh or pickled)
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 large Egg (for egg wash)
- Dipping Sauces (ranch, sriracha mayo, or honey mustard)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, sliced jalapenos, and garlic powder.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a floured surface and cut into strips (about 2 inches wide).
- Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture at one end of each strip, twist the pastry around the filling, and place it on the baking sheet.
- Brush the twists with beaten egg.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving with dipping sauces.
Notes
For a different flavor, consider brushing with olive oil or melted butter instead of egg wash. Adjust jalapeno amounts to control spice level.
