Keto Crunchwrap

  • Total Time: 30
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x
  • Diet: Keto

Description

A satisfying, crunchy, and cheesy wrap that is perfect for keto dieters, packed with flavor and customizable to your liking.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • 4 ounces Cream Cheese
  • 1/4 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 2 tablespoons Taco Seasoning
  • 4 Low-Carb Tortillas
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 cup Lettuce, shredded
  • 1 medium Tomato
  • 1 cup Extra Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro
  • 1/2 cup Jalapeño Slices (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cheese Sauce: In a saucepan, melt the butter. Whisk in the cream cheese and heavy whipping cream until smooth. Stir in the shredded cheddar until melted and creamy.
  2. Cook the Beef: In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add taco seasoning and stir until the meat is well-coated. Drain any excess grease.
  3. Crisp the Tortillas: Heat a little olive oil in a separate pan over medium-high heat. Briefly fry the tortillas, one at a time, until they’re slightly crispy but still pliable.
  4. Assemble the Crunchwrap: Start with a tortilla, add a layer of cream cheese sauce, followed by ground beef, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and your favorite toppings. Top it off with another tortilla.
  5. Cook the Crunchwrap: Place the assembled crunchwrap on the skillet, seam-side down. Cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Serve and Enjoy: Slice in half and serve warm with extra sour cream or salsa on the side.

Notes

These crunchwraps can be stored for up to 3 days in the refrigerator. Reheat in a skillet to maintain texture.
