Instructions
- Prepare Cheese Sauce: In a saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Stir in the cream cheese until melted and creamy. Gradually whisk in the heavy whipping cream until smooth. Mix in shredded cheddar and remove from heat.
- Cook Ground Beef: Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and taco seasoning. Cook until well browned, breaking it up as needed. Drain excess fat.
- Crisp the Tortillas: In a clean skillet, lightly toast each tortilla for about 1 minute on each side until warm. It helps them become slightly crispy.
- Assemble the Crunchwraps: Spread a layer of cheese sauce over the tortilla, followed by the seasoned beef, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, extra shredded cheddar, cilantro, jalapeños, and top it with sour cream.
- Fold: Carefully fold the sides of the tortilla inwards, creating a wrap.
- Cook Crunchwraps: Place the assembly seam-side down on a hot skillet. Cook each side for about 3-4 minutes or until crispy and golden brown.
- Serve: Slice in half or serve whole while warm, and enjoy!
