A quick and flavorful dipping sauce that enhances the taste of any spring roll.
Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- ¼ teaspoon minced fresh ginger
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- ½ teaspoon toasted sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon green onions, chopped
- ½ teaspoon white sugar
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon water
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, water, minced garlic, chopped green onions, sesame oil, sugar, and minced ginger until thoroughly combined.
- Taste your mixture and adjust the thickness by adding more hoisin sauce if necessary.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours to allow the flavors to blend.
- When it’s time to serve, gently heat the mixture in a small saucepan over medium-low heat for 2 to 4 minutes until warmed through.
Notes
Store leftover sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Reheat gently before serving.
