  • Yield: 4 servings 1x
  • Diet: Non-Vegetarian

Description

A mouthwatering double cheeseburger featuring sizzling bacon, crispy pepperoni, and melty cheese layered between tender beef patties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (80% lean, 20% fat)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
  • 6 slices crispy bacon (cooked until crispy)
  • 12 slices pepperoni
  • 4 slices of American cheese (or cheddar cheese)
  • 1/2 onion, sliced (optional)
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • Pickles (optional)
  • 4 soft burger buns (brioche or potato rolls recommended)
  • Ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise (optional for spreading)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Burger Patties: Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix gently, then divide into 8 portions and shape into patties. Grill or cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, adding cheese during the last minute to melt.
  2. Cook the Bacon and Pepperoni: In another skillet, cook the bacon until crispy, then let drain on paper towels. Fry the pepperoni slices in the same skillet for 1-2 minutes per side until crispy.
  3. Toast the Buns: Lightly toast your burger buns on the grill or in a skillet until golden brown.
  4. Assemble the Double Cheeseburgers: Spread ketchup, mustard, or mayonnaise on the bottom bun, add a beef patty with melted cheese, layers of bacon and pepperoni, another beef patty with cheese, and finish with lettuce, tomato, and pickles before capping with the top bun.
  5. Serve: Enjoy your double cheeseburger with your favorite sides.

Notes

Experiment with different cheeses or add toppings like jalapeños for a touch of heat.
