- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
- 6 slices crispy bacon (cooked until crispy)
- 12 slices pepperoni
- 4 slices of American cheese (or cheddar cheese)
- 1/2 onion, sliced (optional)
- 1 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- Pickles (optional)
- 4 soft burger buns (brioche or potato rolls recommended)
- Ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise (optional for spreading)
Instructions
- Prepare the Burger Patties: Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix gently, then divide into 8 portions and shape into patties. Grill or cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, adding cheese during the last minute to melt.
- Cook the Bacon and Pepperoni: In another skillet, cook the bacon until crispy, then let drain on paper towels. Fry the pepperoni slices in the same skillet for 1-2 minutes per side until crispy.
- Toast the Buns: Lightly toast your burger buns on the grill or in a skillet until golden brown.
- Assemble the Double Cheeseburgers: Spread ketchup, mustard, or mayonnaise on the bottom bun, add a beef patty with melted cheese, layers of bacon and pepperoni, another beef patty with cheese, and finish with lettuce, tomato, and pickles before capping with the top bun.
