Ingredients

  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts directly into the slow cooker.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the teriyaki sauce, chicken broth, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Pour your sauce mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker, ensuring the chicken is covered.
  4. Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  5. Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks, mixing it back into the sauce.
  6. Serve warm over cooked rice or noodles.
