- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice or noodles for serving
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts directly into the slow cooker.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the teriyaki sauce, chicken broth, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Pour your sauce mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker, ensuring the chicken is covered.
- Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks, mixing it back into the sauce.
- Serve warm over cooked rice or noodles.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 4 days in the refrigerator, or freeze for up to 3 months.
